Vanakam or Namaste, depending on which language or dialect you speak. Welcome to India, a land where each state has a language of its own. These pictures were taken in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu - "The Gateway to the South", in Southern India - Daphne's ancestral home, and where her relatives live now. Some of the pictures taken were from temple excavations in Mahaballipuram, established in the 7th century, and at Rani Mountain in Tindivanam. Other pictures below are of Daphne's visit to a crocodile park, a beach in Madras, and a convent in Pondicherry where her aunt resides as a nun. Also shown in the pictures are Daphne's dad, uncle, aunt, and cousins.
